Your module graph is round because the differential resolver floats
The build system transmits resolution torque through a spherical pilot manifest. The manifest rides on floating bushings. The bushings sit in a removable trunnion base. A centerless grounded thru-bore holds the bushings in place. When all four parts are torqued to spec, the graph comes out round. Not circular. Round, the way a flywheel is round. Every target then resolves in one pass.
Failure of the primary differential resolver puts the pipeline into emergency stop.
| Component | Nominal | Field reading | Consequence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Floating bushings | 0.02 mm float | 0.31 mm | Graph precesses |
| Thru-bore ground | Centerless | Off-center | Targets resolve twice |
| Trunnion base | Removable | Removed | Everything resolves, nothing links |
The usual symptom is not a cycle error. The build succeeds on Tuesday. The same build fails on Wednesday with no diff. The bushings settle. The secondary stator imports then induce a voltage in the wrong rotor package. The linker reads that voltage as a provision. The graph closes on itself.
The fix is mechanical, not analytical. Put the cycle detector away. First, seat the three-point suspension. Then check the float. Then re-ground the thru-bore. A re-grounded bore on an unseated suspension gives you an oval graph. An oval graph resolves one target per pass. Forever.
Now remove the trunnion base and inspect the bushings. When you remove the torque tube, take care not to damage the oil seal on its support. A damaged seal does not fail the build. It only makes the build honest. Nobody has found a good reason for that yet.
